Do you remember this handsome face?? I do! I’ve missed it, and so have many of you. As you may remember, lingering Dine Out bugs caused me to put this story on hold indefinitely. Said bugs still exist and are crushing the dreams of many aspiring restauranteurs across Sim Nation. However, someone has discovered a workaround for the specific bug I am having! While it’s not the best solution to create a totally awesome restaurant, at least the restaurant can be mildly profitable and still get good ratings.
Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, I’m proud to announce the return of Delicious Dishes & Dreams!!! You don’t know how happy this makes me! I turned aging off to play for a bit to see how this would work and snapped a few pics. I’ll share them with you! Just pretend that during all the time the Pruetts have been working in the restaurant, spending time together, and all that good stuff without us. 🙂 The next restaurant is twice as expensive, so they will need a bit of time to get the money for it. They’re almost there! I’m just waiting for the right time to harvest the flowers and see what we get.

Maya is still living at home. As much as Jonathan would like to see her do something meaningful with her life, he enjoys having her around still.
Breakfast time is still his primary dreaming/planning time. He’s excited for what the future will bring.
Our favorite couple still comes every day! They meant it when they said they wanted to support the Pruetts.
The twins are getting up in age, but they are still as feisty as they were in their youth. Jonathan doesn’t regret taking the youth potion, but when he see his sisters and remembers how old he should be, it reminds him that their time is growing short and he’ll have to live with the pain of losing them for a long time. He tries not to dwell on it much and spends as much time with them as he can.
